If You Are in Constant Pain,
You Can Have Your Active Lifestyle Back!

Read on for the
Special 50% off Web Offer.

If you’re like most people with chronic pain, you’ve tried everything. You’ve gone to doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists and more. You’ve taken every kind of pain medicine, but the pain doesn’t go away. You’ve gone for every kind of test, but the tests show nothing.

“Well&Fit can free you from chains you don’t even realize you’re wearing! The combination of techniques has provided me with relief from nagging problems and restored flexibility that I thought I had lost forever. These treatments were the perfect complement to the work I had been doing in physical therapy. Since the first session, my overall physical abilities and sense of well-being have improved dramatically.”
M.L., Manalapan

Eventually, you resign yourself to the pain. You might even go to a pain specialist who will help you “manage” your pain. Why should you manage your pain, when there is a way to get rid of it? Why can’t these professionals help you?

They might be treating the wrong thing.

Almost any professional you go to will treat the symptoms. Now, it is obvious that if you have a broken leg, the cause of the pain is the break in your leg. Will the doctor give you pain medication and send you on your way without setting the break? Of course not!

But what about the person who has chronic back pain, and none of the standard tests show that anything is wrong? Some doctors use you as a human guinea pig, trying this, and trying that, each time the "cure" makes you worse off than before. You probably know someone whose surgery only made their pain worse! Other doctors will go so far as to say that there is nothing wrong with you, that it is all in your head, and suggest you see a shrink. Yet, YOU know that you are in pain.

“After years of dealing with terrible shoulder and lower back pain, I am finally starting to see relief thanks to the expert work of Woody. I have gone through years of chiropractic care, massage therapy and physical therapy, yet my pain never truly subsided. After the first myofascial release and massage I was already feeling better than I had in over a year.”
L. S., Marlboro

So what is making me hurt so much?

Did you know that there is something in your body that surrounds everything, most of your organs are made of it, and every muscle fiber is surrounded by it? Your brain and nervous system are wrapped in it. When you are injured, this substance, which should be soft, pliable and liquid, solidifies. Ever feel those “piano wires” in your back or neck? You call them “tight muscles”. They are actually made of fascia, or connective tissue, which has solidified, and trapped your muscles and nerves.

What is Fascia?

Imagine that you have a full-body sweater under your skin. Now imagine that this sweater is knitted not just in one layer, but as one knitted mass in the total shape of your body. That is what fascia is like. All your insides: organs, muscles, bones have fascia running through them. Now, imagine that you are pulling on one part of the sweater. Since all the threads are interconnected, when you pull on one part, it puts tension throughout the whole.

In addition to the fibers which are either firm to give support--such as your tendons, or elastic to give flexibility, there is the stuff in between the fibers. This is called the "ground substance". Its normal consistency is a soft gel. When you have been injured, this gel solidifies and traps muscles and nerves.

Since all fascia is one thing, just like a sweater is one thing, you can have tightness in your neck that you feel in your feet. Everything within you is connected, so these restricted areas send out a spider web of tension, limited mobility, pain throughout your body. These solidified areas prevent the fibers from moving freely. To you, it feels like "piano wires" running through your body. You feel them in your back, your neck, even your legs.

These “piano wires” of fascia have a tensile strength of about 2000 pounds. That’s like having an elephant standing on your muscles and nerves: it is crushing pressure!

How do you fix the “Piano wires”?

The one proven method to relieve your areas of tension and pain is called Myofascial Release. Now you may have gone to a therapist who did something they called “Myofascial Release,” but if they were unable to help you for longer than a few hours or days, then most likely they were not trained by John Barnes, who developed Myofascial Release over 40 years ago. His approach is the most effective treatment anywhere for soft-tissue pain. It is a holistic (whole body) approach that looks beyond your symptoms to your entire being: mind, body and emotions.
